Happy Monday....said no one ever. Anyways, this is shaping up to be a pretty cool upcoming summer for Highschool DxD fans. Funimation is gearing up to release the English dub of the first season on DVD/Blu-ray soon. And of course that means we get an early preview. Then there's the second season coming on July 13th that people are hyped about. You can check out previews for both below (the 2nd season preview is a bit old but I never posted it). Pack your lunches b/c we're going back to High School.

Yes, you read that right. BlazBlue, the fighting game franchise, is set to receive it's own anime adaptation in the near future. The anime adaptation was confirmed in the latest volume of the BlazBlue Calamity Trigger novel. This confirmation comes nearly three years after the game series designer, Toshimichi Mori, expressed a desire to see the series made into an anime. Well, his wish has been granted after petitions and stuff of the sort. Some are speculating that the anime will start at the beginning of the video game series to draw in both old and new fans of the franchise. No further details have been released.

Pretty sure there are some fans of the series here. If you're one of them, I'd like to know your thoughts on this. Does BlazBlue really need an anime? As usual, you can vote in the poll or leave a comment. Either way is fine.

Synopsis: The story is set in December of 2199, when the streets are full of anticipation for the end of the year and the start of the new one. Amid the celebrations, word spreads that Ragna the Bloodedge, an SS-class rebel with the highest ever bounty on his head, has appeared in the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagatsuchi. The apparent aim of Ragna or the "Grim Reaper" is the destruction of the system controlling the world. To collect the bounty, a motley array of unrivaled fighters converge on Kagatsuchi.
